2012 Outdoor Competition Winners

Next Generation Luminaires congratulates the winners of the 2012 Outdoor Competition! Thirty-seven commercial LED lighting products received awards for excellence, including four Best-in-Class winners. Three entries were also chosen for special consideration because of the interesting form factors used in their design. The innovative, energy-efficient products that were selected demonstrated high lighting quality and consistency, glare control, serviceability, and value as determined by the 2012 judging panel.

The judging panel selected the luminaires on the basis of color quality, appropriate illuminance, light distribution, glare control, aesthetic appearance and style, serviceability and replacement, value, and energy efficiency.

The judging session was conducted on November 5-6, 2012, and the awards event took place during the 2013 Strategies in Light Conference on February 14, 2013.
